Now, the company is scaling back as it refocuses amidst stiff competition. It seems it is scrambling to cut costs as it’s future seems under threat. Not only have they cut staff the have also altered the Jasper AI Affiliate program.

As was seen in a recent email they sent out.
It stated, “As a Jasper affiliate, you’ve been a key part in helping thousands of users discover AI. We’re so grateful for how you’ve helped us spread awareness about Jasper and feel lucky to have gotten to work together to grow our businesses mutually.”
It goes on to say. “Over the past year, our industry has gone through an enormous amount of change. As one of the only AI platforms that can securely train on your brand voice and help marketers collaborate as a team, there is a differentiated role for Jasper to play in this space. For us to have the fuel and focus we need to fully go after this opportunity, we need to make some changes to how we operate.
As we look ahead to the future, we are making some necessary programmatic changes to the affiliate program to ensure we can continue supporting the growth of our customers, affiliates, and Jasper as a whole.”
These are the changes that will adversely affect affiliates.
Baseline Commission. The baseline commission is changing to 25% with a 12-month commission cliff on all net new customers generated.
Customer Acquisition Benefit. Once an affiliate drives 100 customers, they will be eligible for a 30% commission rate with a 12-month commission cliff for all net new customers moving forward.
Annual Lead Volume Requirement. To maintain active participation in the program, we will require affiliates to generate a minimum of 100 leads annually, which we will begin enforcing in 2024.
Inactive Affiliates. Affiliates who haven’t driven a single lead to date will be removed from the program. This allows us to focus our resources on active affiliates, ensuring we provide the best support and opportunities.

Is this the beginning of the end of the Jasper AI Affiliate Program?

But one thing is for sure the earnings for affiliates have been affected and it is not the same deal as before.
